Interactive failure cascade visualization

Real-time nurse call system topology simulator with cascading failure logic. Interactive network diagram demonstrating complex system dependencies and fault propagation in healthcare infrastructure. Features click-to-fail node simulation with automatic downstream impact calculation across servers, field controllers, VoIP consoles, and corridor lighting. Implements hierarchical cascade rules, daisy-chain topology for lighting circuits, and multi-source impact tracking with detailed hover tooltips. Includes pan/zoom navigation, animated packet flow visualization, and color-coded status indicators showing online/offline/impacted states across 40+ interconnected nodes.

Real-time overtone isolation via STFT resynthesis

Desktop app for visualizing and isolating overtones in real time. Records up to 10 seconds of audio and renders every overtone as a distinct band across a logarithmic time × frequency grid spanning 60 Hz to 20 kHz. A draggable frequency-focus band and an independent time-trim region isolate exactly which overtones sound and over what span, driven by STFT mask-and-resynthesis on a continuous loop. Focus and trim stay live-editable during playback through a lock-free double-buffer with equal-power crossfading. Supports microphone input and WASAPI system-audio loopback, with autocorrelation-based pitch detection powering a harmonic ruler overlay.
